Rebecca and Alex’s wedding at The Reeds at Shelter Haven brought together two things that mean so much to them: each other and the Jersey Shore.
Both Rebecca and Alex grew up spending time at the shore. Rebecca’s family has a home in Ocean City, and over the years, the beach became an important part of their story together. So, it only felt right that the shore would also be part of their wedding day.
One of our favorite parts of Rebecca and Alex’s film is hearing them tell their story in their own words. In separate interviews, they each remembered the connection they felt after their first date. Although they told the story from their own perspectives, it was clear they had both felt that something was different from the very beginning.
Their interviews also kept coming back to the shore. It was a place they each loved before they met. Eventually, it became somewhere that they loved together.
September gave Rebecca and Alex an incredible day for a wedding by the water. The sun was shining, the weather was beautiful, and their friends and family brought amazing energy to the celebration.
Of course, we had to take advantage of the beach. Some of our favorite moments from the day came with Rebecca and Alex together by the ocean. Those scenes felt especially fitting for a couple whose story has been so connected to the Jersey Shore.
In the end, The Reeds at Shelter Haven was more than a beautiful backdrop for their wedding. It gave Rebecca and Alex a chance to celebrate their next chapter in a place that already felt like home.
