FILMMAKER - HUSBAND - DAD - TORTURED PHILLIES FAN

When you think about how you want to relive your wedding day, you envision a one-of-a-kind, personal film that connects to your memories on a deeper level.

Unfortunately, I know what it feels like to have a wedding film you never want to dust off.

Key moments missed, inconsistent audio, and minimal interactions with our loved ones combine into a wedding film that doesn’t do justice to our emotions or our relationship.

You see, I know what you'll want most in your wedding film because we didn't receive it.

Meet John Morgera

your name, lead photographer

That deep sophisticated love story, the one of a kind romance. Morning coffee and reading the newspaper together, the cool fall breeze blowing through the window as you pour another cup. Black denim and leather boots, the deepest crimson flannel. Rose gold and velvet. Rich and lush. Red wine and dark twilight nights. Walking home as the sun rises above the tall brick buildings, the street lights go off as the new day begins and the city starts to wake. The magical hour between dawn and morning, the fog in the air and the dew on the grass. The slow hum of traffic and the cool breeze that signify the joy of a new day.

I WANT EVERY COUPLE TO BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE THEIR WEDDING DAY LIKE THIS

"RELIVE THE DAY"

I highly recommend using PGP Wedding Films. They are creative and have the ability to capture the ‘feeling’ of the day, which is truly unbelievable and having the video gives you the chance to relive that day. - Theresa

Mastering those technical skills allows me to confidently capture the emotion, personality, and meaningful moments that make your wedding day unique.

With a Master's in Television, Radio, and Film from Syracuse University and 15 years of experience in the film industry, visual storytelling feels second nature to me.

"Easy to feel like you're not on camera"

He does such an amazing job of capturing every moment without "getting in the way" if that makes sense. Honestly half the time I didn't even notice him capturing some of our favorite moments which made it very easy to not feel like you're on camera or you have to fix how you look/etc. - Steph

Combining perspective, experience, and creativity,
I craft personal stories for you to relive for years to come.

LEARN MORE ABOUT WORKING WITH ME

AS SEEN IN

Often seen scribbling movie ideas between classes, I would tell anyone who asked that my notebook was filled with pages of "Pure Genius", which eventually became Pure Genius Pictures and now PGP Wedding Films. I've always been passionate about creating something unique and expressive, so I love the opportunity to create wedding films that make an impact!

PGP Wedding Films was born from my high school dream of becoming a director.

Like many Phillies fans, October 2008 is a month I'll never forget, but not just because it's the only time the Phillies have won the World Series in my life.  But during their playoff run, I met my wife.  I’ve always loved the way the timing worked out - that season of celebration collided with meeting my soulmate. That synchronicity inspires me to seek out the threads of your bigger picture and weave them into your wedding film.

October 2008 was an amazing month...and not because the Phillies won the WOrld Series

As a parent, I never want to rush my kids to grow up. But after seeing how joyful and meaningful a wedding day can be, for the entire family, I can’t wait for them to experience those same emotions for themselves. That’s why, throughout your day, I’m always looking for personal interactions with loved ones of all ages. When you see your wedding film, it’s impossible to ignore the impact that your relationships will have on your family legacy. So, I always document your wedding day with that viewpoint in mind.

Being a father to an 6 Year Old son and 4 Year Old daughter has changed the way I film weddings.
