Kodi & Frankie had an Icona Avalon wedding at the Jersey Shore in Avalon, NJ.
The workplace romance is a trope that works great in TV, but really isn’t encouraged in real life. As Kodi’s stepfather said in his toast, it’s the cardinal rule: don’t date someone for work.
But immediately, Kodi & Frankie were drawn to each other.
“I turned to a colleague of mine and literally said, ‘oh, this is going to be a problem,'” Frankie said of seeing Kodi for the first time at work. “And, that problem turned into the best thing in my life.”
While Kodi & Frankie moved beyond the workplace crush and romance, it was cool to see how formative that was for them – it was mentioned throughout their day, filled with emotional first looks, a beautiful beachfront ceremony, and amazing reception at the Icona Avalon.
Beach weddings are always a lot of fun, especially with such stunning early fall weather, but the Icona Avalon wedding experience was great to be a part of. Everything was right there at the hotel, making it easy for guests (and vendors like me) to get around!
I loved Kodi & Frankie’s monogramed dance floor at the Icona Avalon wedding reception – it really worked with the aesthetic of their ballroom perfectly!
