Annie & Michael had their wedding at St. Agnes’ Catholic Church in West Chester, PA, & celebrated their marriage at their Mendenhall Inn wedding reception in Mendenhall, PA.

There are lots of “high school sweethearts”, but there’s only one Annie & Michael.

And while it was not necessarily love at first sight, Annie & Michael definitely made an impression on each other.

Michael talked about how he noticed her as she came into a girl’s basketball game – and noted: “What an awesome energy she had”.

Annie also noted Michael from basketball games – but remembered him as “the guy who dresses up as a referee at basketball games,” according to maid of honor Kara during their Mendenhall Inn wedding reception. But once Kara heard Michael ranking his favorite Taylor Swift songs, she knew, “Annie & Michael were destined for each other.”

Once in each other’s orbits as friends, they joked about being perfect for each other…until it wasn’t a joke anymore.

“There was almost an expectation,” Michael began – “That it was going to end in marriage,” Annie continued. “We didn’t really go into the relationship with anything else in mind.”

Clearly, they were right! After getting engaged back at the Malvern Retreat House where their relationship started, they were able to celebrate their wedding at the Mendenhall Inn with all of their family and friends, rocking out to 25 minutes of Taylor Swift.
