Nickol said she wanted her wedding to have a laid back, backyard barbecue feel, and I think I have new goals for my next family gathering because everything was beautiful! This day was filled with amazing moments. Nickol tearing up with her daughter reading a letter from Nick. Sneaking into their reception unnoticed. Nick’s sneak attack for their cake cutting. Their day was so much fun to be a part of, and it was easy to tell they were ready for this moment. It also didn’t hurt that the light at the DuPortail House was amazing all day long. As a filmmaker, it was impossible to take a bad shot with this light and this couple!
