Sydney & Brian had their Long Beach Island Wedding at Bonnet Island Estate.

One of the things I love about a Long Beach Island wedding is they are so so personal for each couple. A family grows to love summers at the shore, and it becomes a natural place to have their wedding. But it isn’t always so perfect for both families.

Sydney & Brian recounted how when they met, Sydney assumed that Brian wouldn’t know Long Beach Island. His family had moved around a lot, so what were the odds he knew of this one New Jersey vacation destination.

However, his family also came to LBI for their family vacations, and it made it all feel full circle to have everyone there for their wedding day. They had a picture perfect early summer day, and in all of their toasts it was clear how much this place means to them. It was really special to capture another Long Beach Island memory for them!

One special wrinkle in this wedding for me was that in the last 17 months, I filmed Sydney’s sister’s wedding as well as her brother’s wedding! It means so much to me for one family to trust me to tell each of their stories.

Each couple had their own dynamic, though the common denominator is they all were such good, friendly, warm people. I’ll be thinking of them every time I have a Long Beach Island Wedding!
