Devin & Blake had their wedding ceremony & reception at Hagley Museum in Wilmington, DE.

Slightly editing a famous line from Gandolf in “The Lord of the Rings”, Devin stated “Love is never late, nor is it early. It arrives precisely when it means to.”

For Devin & Blake, it was clear to both of them at their med school orientation gathering that it had arrived. Blake was immediately struck by Devin, assuming she must be a celebrity, while Devin steadfastly hoped to stick to a plan of not dating at the start of medical school.

But she could not deny a pull to Blake, and their relationship blossomed through their time together in medical school and into their residencies.

Their ceremony, in Delaware where Devin had “been hiding” at Hagley Museum, had a picture-perfect backdrop of the DuPont mansion. Everything looked like it was straight out of a movie, which was fitting because their story was, as Devin put it “my favorite.”

Surrounded by their family & friends, with every smile & laugh, it was easy to see why.
