Denise & Alex had their wedding vow renewal & reception at Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia, PA.

It was very clear what Denise & Alex’s focus had become in the time between when they originally had their wedding scheduled in 2020 to their 2022 vow renewal – their twin daughters.

From the moment I met them on the day, their priorities were clear. Their getting ready time was not scheduled around hair & makeup, weather (it wasn’t great but once we got to the wedding at Morris Arboretum it cleared up!), or the first look. It was scheduled around nap time.

It became even more apparent as I interviewed Alex and saw how much his daughters mean to him, and how much he appreciates the incredible mother Denise has become.

And the feeling goes both ways. Denise mentioned in her vows how their girls light up when they see their dad.

Alex mentioned their love of hiking, and their first “date” was a group bike ride (which they both mentioned in their vows). In talking with them and listening to their vows, it’s really cool to me how they are leaning into those interests and including their daughters in all the incredible adventures to come!
