Laura & Mason had a beautiful Stone Harbor wedding at the Reeds at Shelter Haven.
Lean into what is special to you on your wedding day!
Let this film be your sign or permission to just do what you want with your wedding day. On our very first call, Laura talked about how she really didn’t want a traditional wedding day, and that she was dreaming about going for a run around Stone Harbor with her favorite people and ending it with a dip in the ocean. Of course, I had to film that!
Tying Things Together
Finding the things that are important to you are such a huge part of our process in making your film. The run tied into Mason’s brother’s toast, and I felt like jumping into the ocean paired nicely with a story Mason talked about in his interview in this clip, and that story tied in later into the father of the groom’s toast.
A wedding film is never a paint-by-numbers thing for us, and putting the puzzle pieces together into a full narrative of your story is why I do what I do!
Music Selection
I don’t choose music based on what I like, but based on what fits the vibe of your day and your personalities. But it’s a nice plus when it merges and I happily hum the soundtrack to your film as I’m doing everyday things.
I loved this song we opened Laura & Mason’s film with, and it definitely stuck with me the whole time I was editing, and it’s still popping into my head and making me smile!
