Vanderwende Acres Wedding

Rachel & Travis had their wedding ceremony & reception at Vanderwende Acres in Seaford, DE.

After a few unsuccessful attempts to get to know Rachel, he told himself that he just “needed to find a woman like that Rachel girl who ignores me.”

But something was different after a chance meeting at Wash Park.

“I don’t believe our reconnecting in the park was a coincidence,” Rachel said in her vows. “Through our many dates and late-night walks, I got to see your heart towards people, your strength & energy for life, and most importantly, your strong belief in God.”

And from there, their relationship took off. “Instead of finding a girl like the one who ignored me, I found the one who ignored me, and I could never be so lucky.”

They definitely did not get an ideal day for their wedding – rain never let up, but they still were able to have an amazingly poignant ceremony on the patio of Vanderwende Acres, and a lively reception there as well!
