Kerry and Chris’s wedding at Lighthouse Cove Event Center in Dewey Beach, Delaware felt completely at home by the water. As Kerry’s maid of honor put it, getting married at the beach was very “Kerry and Chris coded.”

Their connection to the Delaware beaches was also part of the story that brought them here.

A Love Story That Grew Over Time

From the beginning, Chris was uniquely himself. Kerry may not have immediately seen where their relationship was headed. However, as they spent more time together, their connection continued to grow.

That became especially true during COVID, when Kerry and Chris spent time together in Bethany Beach. In the middle of such an unusual period, the beach became an important place for the two of them. Eventually, Bethany and Dewey became part of their story as a couple.

Throughout their wedding day, that same easy energy between Kerry and Chris came through. They laughed together, enjoyed the people around them, and seemed ready to have a lot of fun with the celebration they had planned.

A Lighthouse Cove Wedding in Dewey Beach

Lighthouse Cove gave Kerry and Chris a beautiful waterfront setting for their wedding. The views of the bay and the relaxed beach atmosphere fit the day perfectly. Still, the setting was only part of what made this wedding memorable.

Once the reception got going, the energy completely took over.

Kerry and Chris had one of the wildest dance floors I’ve seen at a wedding. Their guests packed the floor, and at one point, the celebration even turned into a mosh pit. That was definitely a first for me.

In the end, the reception felt like the perfect way to finish their wedding film. It was energetic, a little unexpected, and a whole lot of fun. After the Delaware beaches became such an important part of their relationship, celebrating their wedding there felt like a perfect next chapter.
